Shipping & Returns Policy

How, when, and where we ship. Times, costs, customs, and handling of lost, damaged, or defective shipments.

1. Geographic coverage

SuperBio Labs ships with an emphasis on Ecuador and Latin America. Current coverage:

  • Ecuador (all provinces) — primary market, dispatched from Quito.
  • Main LATAM countries: Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Costa Rica, Panama, Paraguay, Bolivia.
  • Other destinations: subject to prior consultation via WhatsApp.

For destinations outside those listed, we verify logistical and regulatory feasibility before processing the order.

2. Processing times

Once payment is confirmed, orders are processed within the following 24 business hours (Monday through Friday, excluding Ecuadorian national holidays). During that window, the package is prepared, the shipping label is generated, and the parcel is handed over to the courier.

These are courier estimates and are not contractually guaranteed. Delays caused by customs procedures in the destination country are common and outside our direct control.

4. Shipping costs

The exact cost is calculated at checkout based on the destination. Approximate reference:

  • Continental Ecuador: $5–10 USD
  • Galápagos: $15–20 USD
  • Main LATAM countries: $25–40 USD
  • Rest of LATAM: $35–55 USD

Free shipping on orders over $300 USD within Ecuador. For LATAM, free shipping on orders over $500 USD.

5. Couriers

  • Ecuador: Servientrega, Urbano Express, Tramaco.
  • LATAM: DHL Express, FedEx, Servientrega Internacional, depending on destination.

The courier is assigned based on the destination and order type. The Customer may request a specific courier at the time of purchase (subject to availability and any additional cost).

6. Packaging and preservation

All products are packed in a double box with protective material. Lyophilized vials are shipped at ambient temperature — lyophilized peptides are stable without refrigeration during transport (typically 7–14 days at ambient temperature without significant loss of potency).

Each package includes:

  • Product vial(s).
  • Complete kit: bacteriostatic water, U-100 syringes, alcohol swabs.
  • Printed reconstitution guide.
  • Printed application protocol.
  • Physical or digital copy of the batch COA.

Upon receipt, store the unreconstituted vial at −20°C, protected from light. Once reconstituted: refrigerate at 2–8°C and use within the timeframe indicated for the product.

7. Tracking

Once the order is dispatched, the Customer receives by email:

  • Tracking number / waybill.
  • Link to the courier portal.
  • Estimated delivery date.

Order status is also available in the "My account" section of the site.

8. Customs and import taxes

For international shipments:

  • Tariffs, import duties, VAT, and any other tax burden of the destination country are the Customer's exclusive responsibility.
  • SuperBio Labs declares products under their true chemical name and commercial value for customs purposes.
  • If a shipment is held by customs, the Customer must coordinate directly with the corresponding authority.
  • If a shipment is seized due to the Customer's noncompliance with local regulations, no refund applies.

9. Lost or undelivered shipments

If a shipment is not delivered within the courier's estimated timeframe plus 7 additional days, contact hello@superbiolabs.com with the order number and tracking number.

Procedure:

  1. We open a formal investigation with the courier (24–72 hours).
  2. If the shipment is located, normal delivery resumes.
  3. If loss is confirmed, the Customer chooses between a full refund (including shipping cost) or a replacement at no additional cost.

10. Damaged shipments

If the package arrives physically damaged (broken vial, broken seal, altered contents):

  1. Do NOT sign the courier's receipt, or sign it noting the damage.
  2. Take photographs immediately: outer package, label, damaged contents.
  3. Notify hello@superbiolabs.com within 48 hours maximum with the photos and order number.
  4. We proceed with replacement at no cost or a refund, per the Customer's preference.

11. Returns and refunds

Due to the research nature and cold-chain handling of our products, we do not accept returns for change of mind. The only valid grounds for return and refund are:

  • Factory-defective product: empty vial, original seal damaged, contents do not match the requested product.
  • Wrong product shipped: SuperBio Labs sent a product different from the one in the order.
  • Damaged shipment: damage documented during transport (see section 10).
  • Batch with specification deviation: if the batch COA shows values outside the stated range.
  • Confirmed shipment loss (see section 9).

The Customer must notify hello@superbiolabs.com within 7 days of receipt with details, photos, and order number. After verification, we proceed with a replacement or full refund (including original shipping cost). The refund is processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

12. Cancellations

An order may be canceled at no cost before it has been dispatched. Once the shipping label has been generated, cancellation is no longer possible — the return procedure for the valid grounds described above will apply.

13. Right of Withdrawal (Ecuador Consumer Protection Law)

For customers in Ecuador, the Ecuador Consumer Protection Law (LODC) recognizes the right of withdrawal in distance sales before the product has been shipped. Because our products are temperature-sensitive peptides subject to chain-of-custody handling, once dispatched, the grounds described in section 11 apply.
